For many, Christmas is the loneliest time of the year.
Loneliness is a serious social issue that harms the health of Finns more than any other single factor. It is especially common among young people and the elderly. Without donations, one in three people in need would be left without help.
Your donation to HelsinkiMissio brings free counselling, caring volunteers, and welcoming community spaces to people in need. We believe that in good company, no one has to be alone.
Regardless of how big or small the problems, for me the most significant thing was the experience of being seen and heard.
