For many, Christmas is the loneliest time of the year.
Loneliness is a serious social issue that harms the health of Finns more than any other single factor. It is especially common among young people and the elderly.
Your donation to HelsinkiMissio brings free counselling, caring volunteers, and welcoming community spaces to people in need. Without donations, one in two people in need would be left without help. Together, we can help those who are most deeply affected by loneliness.

Allowing employees to dedicate part of their work time to volunteering has been shown to enhance well-being. Shared experiences foster a sense of connection and strengthen relationships within the workplace.

Fundraising Permit granted by the National Police Board, RA/2021/1597, granted November 25, 2021. Permit valid until further notice from January 1, 2022, in all of Finland except the Åland Islands. Funds raised will be used for HelsinkiMissio activities and its work to reduce loneliness.
