Welcome to THE Albert's living room
Did you know there is a cozy living room in the middle of Helsinki for families and seniors? Albert's Living Room on Albertinkatu 33 is a place where you can meet your friends with kids and where everyone is welcome to play.
We offer coffee and tea free of charge, a play corner with plenty of toys and books, and a safe environment for kids to explore as well as kitchen facilities with a microwave and fridge for your own snacks. We also have a nappy changing station and a nursing room. Our lovely volunteers are ready to chat with you and your children.
Albert's living room opening hours for the spring season (March 2 - June 17):
- Monday (International Monday's) from 9:30 to 14:00
- Wednesday from 9:30 to 15:00
- Thursday from 9:30 to 15:00
- Friday from 9:30 to 15:00

About corona safety
We want to make Olkkari the warmest and safest place to visit as possible. We follow the instructions given by the authorities regarding corona security. We take care of the cleanliness of the facilities and toys as well as provide face masks for visitors and hand sanitizer is available. We recommend using face masks. Participation is only allowed without corona symptoms. Visitors do not need a corona passport. According to the given current guidelines, we do not limit the number of people at Olkkari.
We also offer other free services for families with children:
The Neuvolaparkki activity, which takes place every Tuesday from 9:30 to 15:00 in the lobby of Kamppi Family Center (Malminkatu 3 F), is an activity aimed at families with children. Different kinds of activities for children such as plays, games, crafting, or reading fairy tales, are held during the opening hours of the Neuvolaparkki.
Opening hours for the spring season (March 2 - June 17):
- Tuesdays from 9:30 to 15:00
At the Neuvolaparkki, senior volunteers meet families with children for play, a coffee cup, and a shared moment. In addition families with children can meet other children and parents. Parents with their children can stop at the Neuvolaparkki before or after an appointment at the clinic. A parent with children can also come along, even if there are no other activities at the family center.
